Exposition Hall Closing to Make Room for Mickey & Minnie

Exposition Hall in the Magic Kingdom will be closing on April 2 to begin construction on the new character meet & greet (presumably for Mickey & Minnie, but may include other characters as well). Since the plans are to level Toontown (*sigh*) with the new Fantasyland expansion, these beloved characters will find their new home on Main Street. In the mean time, the Storytime Experience that is currently housed in Exposition Hall will move to Epcot, and the Walt Disney World Theatre will close (no word on if this is a temporary or permanent close). In true Disney fashion, the gift shop at the front of Exposition Hall will remain open.

  1. I was thrown off by the picture of Toon Town Fair not Exposition Hall

Yes, I wanted to post the Toontown pic (current home of Mickey & Minnie), since it will soon be a thing of the past. I'm a sucker for nostalgia.
