Thursday's Tip

Without a doubt, my top over-arching Disney tip is to plan well. So today's tip is a bit of a counter-point to that: leave room for interesting distractions! Sure, I like to have a touring plan. But I never plan our schedule so tight that I can't take time out for something new and fun along the way.

For instance, you never know when some new fun experience will become available at Disney World. Sometimes celebrities make surprise appearances--really. Or, there might be a new roaming band or ensemble in one of the Parks. And just maybe, you will see a large turtle walking the path at Epcot...and your preschooler might want to stop and watch the whole scene unfold. (OK, yep, that one actually happened. It was pretty odd to see a turtle on the sidewalk, navigating the minefield of people.)

There's so much to take in at Walt Disney World. Make sure that you aren't so busy doing Disney that you forget to see it.
