If you're planning to take advantage of Disney's 2010 "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" promotion, you might want to sign up now! According to the official Disney Parks Blog, the program has reached 600,000 volunteers in just 6 weeks! (Now, granted, that is the number who have signed up--not the number who have completed their service and received vouchers.) Disney has said they will cap the program at one million volunteers, although there's always the possibility that they will extend it. *Fingers crossed!*
Our family has completed 5 of 6 blankets for Project Linus and will turn them in on Feb. 27 (you have to specify a date, so we gave ourselves plenty of time). We're hoping to use our vouchers in October, our favorite time to visit.
