Disney has confirmed plans to release Oz: The Great and Powerful, a "prequel" to The Wizard of Oz, on March 8, 2013. The film, directed by Sam Raimi, begins filming this summer and features the talents of James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, and Michelle Williams.
