Here's an "oldie, but a goodie" tip that only works if you have access to a working frige/freezer: free water bottles and/or juice pouches to take into the park with you. Unless you're traveling during the winter months (and even then, temps are usually mild), your beverages will easily melt by lunch time and will remain cooler for longer if you freeze them first. This offers you a perfect mid-day pickup, without having to get in line to get a beverage or ice.
That said, most any counter service restaurants will give you a free cup of ice water, even if you're not purchasing anything else. And I've noticed during my last couple of visits that the WDW water no longer has that offensive sulpher taste. They must be filtering it these days. Hooray for that! (We did have one or two cups that still tasted a bit "off," but overall our water was tasteless...just like it's supposed to be. We always take flavoring packets, just in case we get the occasional "icky" cup of water.)
Stay hydrated!
