UP a Big Winner at the Oscars

Congratulations to UP for winning two Oscars last night: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Score! I think both awards were well-deserved. Even though our family was anticipating the opening of The Princess and the Frog with more excitement than UP, I have to admit that we were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved UP...and continue to love it. The first ten to fifteen minutes of this film are golden, in my opinion. It tackles the tough theme of growing old and death with delicacy and beauty. It definitely gets all thumbs UP in our household!
