The Princess and the Frog Releases; Disney Officially Welcomes Tiana

OK, so Tuesday is the big day--The Princess and the Frogreleases on DVD/Blu-ray. I'll be heading to Target to get my combo pack for $26.99, minus the $10 coupon, minus the $5 FrogTape rebate (yes, we're painting this week!), and minus the $5 Bandaid rebate. Net cost after rebates and coupon: $6.99--not too shabby.

We've known Tiana as the most recent Disney Princess for a while now, but Disney made it official on Sunday in a star-studded event in New York City. All the other princesses were there to welcome Princess Tiana as the 9th Disney Princess in the Court. (If you have any question about who the other "official" princesses are, you can check out the photo above. Apparently, Giselle doesn't have that distinction.)
