Thursday's Tip
If you've ever been in one of the Disney Parks at parade time, you know that the parade route can get quite crowded. In fact, if you want to get a premium spot on the street, you might need to stake out your area up to an hour before the parade starts. Sitting on the hard concrete sidewalk for an hour can get old fast. Here's a great tip to make it a bit easier to take: carry an envelope lined with bubble wrap in your park bag (9 x 12 or so should be sufficient). It's small and can be rolled up to fit in your backpack, but the cushion from the bubble wrap will make a big difference when you're sitting for an extended period of time.
[Here's a bonus tip: have one member of your party grab lunch at a counter service restaurant for everyone while the rest of you hold your spot. Might as well multi-task, right?]
