With each new announcement comes new hope that our beloved Enchanted Tiki Room will no longer be "Under New Management." (See previous posts here , here, and here for background.) It seems that the re-opening date has been pushed back yet again, this time to August 16. And it looks like Iago and Zazu will indeed be noticeably absent from the latest version of the show. While I doubt that Disney will choose to restore the attraction to its original version--because, after all, Disney is always moving forward--I am hearing that it will certainly be more attuned to the "Tropical Serenade" that most of us have been hoping to see.
