Perhaps the most succinct way to describe the inaugural "Taste of Africa Street Party" at Animal Kingdom is to call it a scaled-down version of Epcot's Food & Wine Festival. All the elements are there: tapas-style appetizer servings of new & unique foods at a reasonable $2.50-$4.00 price point, along with beverage pairings (some wine & beer, but also some non-alcoholic tropical juices). Oh, and there's music too--a DJ as well as a band!
The Street Party begins today (right after Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade) and lasts through July 24.
