Much to the dismay of my children, the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure will officially close on Friday, May 18, to make way for the Phineas & Ferb/Agent P World Showcase Adventure that will open in late June. If you happen to be at WDW this week, go have one final adventure with Kim, Ron Stoppable, Wayne, Rufus, and the gang before they leave the World Showcase. (Reagan, my eldest daughter, recommends the France adventure.)
I'm sure we'll happily embrace the new Phineas & Ferb-themed adventure too

Phineas & Ferb Adventure Coming to World Showcase
My eldest daughter is very sad that Kim Possible will be making an exit, but I'm sure there are kiddos galore who will be excited to hear that Phineas & Ferb--and, of course, Perry the Platypus (Agent P)--will be getting their own World Showcase Adventure. No specific date has been given, but later this summer expect to see a similar experience to the Kim Possible one, except that guests will join Agent P in his secret agent exploits. This from the Official Disney Parks Blog:
All the would-be secret agents out there will find a great new interactive experience at Epcot this year.
Coming this summer, Disney Phineas & Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure is based on the wily secret-agent alter-ego of Perry the Platypus – faithful pet to the title characters from Disney’s animated series “Phineas & Ferb.” Although just a simple pet to Phineas and Ferb, Perry turns into Agent P in each episode to help stop the misguided plans of his nemesis, Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Epcot guests will transform into secret agents to help Agent P thwart some of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s most daring plots. Agents will use a “high-tech secret agent device” to receive clues for each case. Solving the clues will take agents to different places throughout seven World Showcase countries at Epcot – Mexico Pavilion, France Pavilion, Germany Pavilion, Norway Pavilion, Japan Pavilion, China Pavilion and the United Kingdom Pavilion. Agents will scour each country for clues, evil “Inators,” and – with a little bit of luck – help Agent P defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

Friday Photo
It's almost that time...Halloweeeeeeeeeen! Is it just my kids, or do yours start planning their costumes for nex year as soon as they get home from trick-or-treating? Both of my girls are big Kim Possible fans, and I lucked into this bargain costume online for my youngest daughter. She tried it on a few nights ago. She looks like she's ready to help save the world, doesn't she?

Are your kids dressing as Disney characters? What great costumes do you have lined up for them?

DMR "Purchase"
You may remember that I was able to get a free High School Musical bike for my daughter's birthday in July by redeeming my Disney Movie Rewards points. If you're not a member of Disney Movie Rewards, you really should be. You get free stuff just for going to see Disney movies and/or purchasing them on DVD or Blu-ray. And you're doing that already, right? Why not be rewarded for it!
Last week, I cashed in another 1750 points to purchase Season 1 and Season 2 of the Kim Possible series on DVD.

My oldest daughter, Reagan, became interested in Kim Possible when we did the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure at Epcot. But, of course, the show is no longer running on Disney Channel. Reagan has been watching clips of the shows on Disney's website, and she just can't seem to get enough of it. So, I thought this would be a great little surprise for her to watch on the drive to Disney World in a few weeks.
Speaking of our trip, the official countdown is exactly 19 days until we arrive at Walt Disney World (18 until we start our trip). We can't wait!
