Disney Documentary Premiers at TIFF

Waking Sleeping Beauty premiered this past week at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film, directed by Oscar-nominated Disney producer Don Hahn (whose credits include Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King), is a documentary about the animation revival Disney experienced in the 80s and 90s, with a string of blockbuster successes. Not sure when Waking Sleeping Beauty will release to the public (I'm guessing it won't have a theatrical release, but rather DVD), but I'll be eager to view it! To read a review, click here.
