Did you know that Walt Disney World has kid-friendly maps for early readers and even pre-readers? They do! (They're usually in the rack with the maps that are in various languages--yep, they have those too.) My youngest daughter, who had just turned 4 on our last trip, thoroughly enjoyed flipping through hers and helping us decide what our next adventure would be!
