Later this month, Disney will celebrate Leap Day on February 29 with "One More Disney Day," in which the Magic Kingdom (as well as Disneyland in California) will be open for 24 continuous hours from 6:00 a.m. Wednesday through 6:00 a.m. Thursday. The MK will then re-open on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. for a regular day of operations. Here are a few details:
- "One More Disney Day" is NOT a special ticketed event. In other words, it is open to any guest with a valid admission ticket, including an annual pass.
- Select merchandise locations will have limited hours, while others will remain open at all times. Commemorative merchandise will be available and is expected to be offered online following the event.
- There will be a few brief closures of certain attractions, in order to complete the routine nightly maintenance, but otherwise, all attractions are expected to remain open during the 24-hour period.
- Table service at most eateries will end around midnight, but there will be at least one counter service restaurant with indoor seating open at all times. Several locations will offer a breakfast menu on Thursday morning.
- Guest services such as transportation, bag check, security, First Aid, and the Baby Care Center are expected to be fully operational for all 24 hours.
